Success stories are what drive us. So you can imagine our delight when we saw this video featuring our student, Ben Ashford with his dog, Sissy.
This wonderful testimonial shows the power of dogs to be healing influences in our lives when we face certain struggles. In Coach Ashford's case, that struggle was addiction. But, as he found his path in athletics, so too did he find a very special canine companion.
We are proud to have played a small part in their developing a healthy relationship and an ability give back to the students at Samford University Athletics. Check out the video below:
